Stimulating Fine Motor Skills in Preschoolers Using Loose Parts Media

Loose part media provides a rich quality play experience, allows children to be fully involved, and inspires creativity and stimulates their development. This study aims to find out the implementation of the use of loose part media in developing fine motor skills of children aged 3-4 years at TKIT Baitushalihin. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the use of loose part media at TKIT Baitussalihin can be integrated well into daily learning activities. Teachers have designed media planning. loose part, setting up a safe play space, and giving children the freedom to explore. The implementation of this loose part media has succeeded in creating an environment that supports the development of children's fine motor skills. Teachers can evaluate the use of loose part media significantly developing the fine motor skills of children aged 3-4 years. Children become more skilled in to hold small object, compile and arrange objects with precision, and show improvements in hand- eye coordination.
